Little Mix have insisted that they will not be trying to compete for solo number one singles after announcing that they will be separating after 11 years together.
The group have notched up an impressive five number 1 singles, as well as winning three Brit Awards over the seven albums they have released together.

Members Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall said that they are managing their solo releases so they’re not releasing new music simultaneously.

Leigh-Anne added: “We are so close and that’s the thing. We’re all going to be in communication about this the whole time.”
The 30-year-old said that their friendship is too important to jeopardise and they want to ensure that they are not getting in each others’ way after they each start their solo career.
